It is a poltical tactiic by Mr Obama. most of the jewish community reside in america while not all of them are zionists or support the occupation or ill treatment of the Palestinian people.Its tru tht there is violence from both sides, but also clear tht there is reason for the violence while violence may never be justified. Obama was previously editor of the harvard law review. He should kno abt the rule of law and civil liberties and that Israel have shown no dedication to human rights as America have not and by stating the contrary, his credibility dissapears in my eyes. It is a I scratch your back you scratch ours policy. Remember that the population of Israel is made up of many jewish American expatriates who still have the right to vote in the US. It alsos distances himself from any claim that he was muslim.
