@1fastcat243 There are a lot of good mono lines out there, but P-Line is one of our favorites. If you are looking for good line and a good price, then select the Bass Pro Shops brand "Excel" - It is also one of our favorites!

@1fastcat243 Berkley Trilene is a decent line and 17 lb test should do you well on your bait caster.

i know this isnt really relevant to the actual video, but which is best for off shore fishing (for bass, pike, carp, walleye, muskie, perch) i fish all those species and need a good rod and reel, baitcaster, something reliable and that can take abuse (budget of 150 for reel) thanks!

@cb7pwn You can buy a nice reel for under $150, like the Daiwa TD-Pro bait caster - it's a very nice reel that should retail for around $125 - by the time you add the tax, you'll be close to your budget.
