Additional Pay * Standards of Conduct Pay: $173.34/month * Night Differential: $.55/hour (between hours of 6 p.m. to 6 a.m.) * Overtime: 1 ½ times the base hourly rate * Meal Allowance for Overtime work * Subsidized Vehicle Allowance: $562-$600/month * Hazard Pay (ex. Solo Bike: 25% of base pay) * Special Duty: $30-$34/hour

  • You must be a U.S. citizen,

    but you can get your citizenship too.

  • To answer the questions...because of the economy...the City cannot afford to hire more Officers..hence, the hiring freeze

  • I went to the meeting for the Honolulu PD MPRO and filled out an app.. they told me the test was going to be on April 18th but they ended up canceling. . do u know the reason, and when will there be another test? My plan is to become an HPD officer, but they are currently not hiring, so for now I want to join the MPRO program as a way of gaining experience. thanks for any response .
