I owed a terra gear 10 X 10 tent and had the exact same thing happen to me as the video uploader. I set it up in the backyard prior to going camping. A small storm came up and one of the tent poles snapped and ripped through the top of the tent. The winds were not all that strong. Design is poor and would not recommend. I did not even get a chance you use it as it broke on the first day it was put up.

The only other piece of information that I want that no one seems to have, not even the site where you can buy this tunnel tent is, how many seasons is it for? There's a MEC 3 person/3 season tent for $360 and a MEC 3 person/4 season tent for $448. Why are these so expensive and this tunnel tent a fraction of the cost of these?

Just to make sure, are you talking about the tunnel tent?

Yes... the tunnel tent.
To be completely clear... I bought two of the exact same tunnel tent - but I bought them on different dates, and the second tent had some small differences (color and number of guy-lines).

What is the name of the blue one in the middle that takes a long tome to set up? How is it with rain?
Seanrich77 1 year ago
I bought two of them at different times... and they had slightly different names and designs (fewer guy-lines on one of them).
The name printed on one was:
"Outdoor Works - Beaver Creek"
...and on the other:
"Outdoor Works - Muskoka"
I don't see them on Costco Canada's website right now... though they have other tents by "Outdoor Works". Not sure anymore where to find the specific tent I bought in this review.
It was fine in the rain.

Cory

How heavy is it? That's kind of important if you're hiking.

I don't remember the actual weight... but it's not the lightest one around, so not the best for backpacking.
