Preview of a beautiful track from Sean Jone's latest CD 'Kaleidoscope.' Jones is one of the young lions of jazz and an amazing trumpet player. Carolyn Perteete has a mesmerizing voice.

  • @FCntertainr Carolyn has some great live video from Pittsburgh that show cases her voice !- FC

  • @FCntertainr Music is by Vince Mendoza, initially titled 'Esperanca' (Hope). Kurt Elling wrote these lyrics after reportedly mishearing the title as 'Esperanto.' Unfortunately his version isn't on YouTube, but it's both revelatory and quite different from this one.

  • Oh my Carolyn sings so beautifully! Who wrote this tune? She sings a kind of moody mellow indie-jazz with a folk influence. The more I hear the more I like her. I met her once in Pittsburgh but did not get to hear her sing. One day I will!- Fc
