Still Doesn't Get It

More than 100 Iraqi civilians are dying in Iraq on a daily basis. 45 American Troops have died in the first 16 days of November and 2,865 have died since the war began. While the Bush Administration still won't admit that there is a deadly civil war raging on in Iraq the rest of us are left wondering how and when our troops will get to come home alive. The war is getting worse yet Bush still doesn't get it, but we can make sure this new congress does. Write or call your Senators and your Representatives to let them know that the American people want a real plan for ending the war in Iraq and bringing our troops home safe.

Sure it takes courage to have peace. But it takes a hell of a lot more courage to stand up for the oppressed. Try supporting our troops instead of being an ass and highlighting their deaths and funerals. At least they died trying to save people from oppression...which I'm certain is a hell of a lot more then you've done.

Iraq is under insurgency, and the people are being freed BY brave US and Iraqi troops who are trying to help a country which has been brutalized by Arabs and tyrants for over 50 years, since its founding. you don't get it. This "war" started to take form by the last admin and it's congress was over months after it started. We didn't have to be there after we eliminated the threat, but humanitarians would have bitched if we left the country in shambles as well and it wouldn't be responsible of the country. You're blindly blaming Bush for the whole issue. Look it up. I am ashamed of the people who live in my country not just the actions of my country.
