Ive never build anything before, not even a small doll
house but thru this, I was able to build solar panel on
my own regardless of my unknowlegeable on this. It
really helped me a lot esp in giving me less electric

Their collectors do not have the highest BTUs per dollar... flat plate collectors have the highest BTUs per dollar by far. Check their SRCC ratings. The vacuum tube / flat plate chart is also bogus. The real truth is that the Chinese vacuum tubes will lose vacuum within 10 years (check the warranty carefully). Snow clings to them during the winter and large hail will break them. Stop the spinning cedar tubs...

@MB031, I hear your frustration, I worked for a short time in PV sales and there was a great deal of greed. All solar should be 1/4 the price of what we are paying.
My advice, do it yourself, all items are available in parts now. Evacuated tubes work well and are about $30 a foot. Just the other day I saw a full system for under $1000 that rarely needs boosting.
