that was a good lesson thanks gonna use it on my vocals

I do not recommend doing this..... much better ways to improve vocals.... also just right click on the original track and duplicate it (saves you from creating a new track, then copying and pasting the wave form). All you did was boost the S's in the vocals.... ???? That makes it less hollow or more tinny?? I vote for Tinny. Not knocking the effort but I wouldn't post this as a learning/teaching/instructiona

thanks man, this helped a lil

I hope I can learn to use all these things :/ I want to record myself at home, cuz the producer guy I'm working with right now, just doesn't understand at all what I want musically >< My CD will end up sounding like sticky pop crap with some cheap techno in some songs..

No doubt, Yea I actually just installed Waves Diamond collection .. I will def. check it out .. I know a few engineers that use waves that's why i got it now .. Thanks for the help fam
I've been using ozone for a while now ,, but i dont seem to be to happy with the results i get from it .. it sound great in the studio , but not so much in clubs or cars with loud music. I actually stopped using it and began to use it again recently. I find that it hides my bass sometimes depending on the track im working on. If the beat is not mastered then it's a little better, but when it it mastered it ruins the mix with the vocals.. any tips ? Ive used the presets also and adjusted them

@dongee1 it might be the preset you are using cuz I know sometimes Ozone can over compress the bass so the track ends up sounding thinner. I also like to use the waves L plugins.. like an L2 combination with maybe an SSL EQ.. It all would depend on the track.. I would definitely check out the waves L plugins though

what plug in or compressor should be used on the master after everything is mixed and edited ? Something that will ensure the quality and volume of the entire song ...

@dongee1 Izotope Ozone is pretty good. There are a lot of different mastering plugins, but that one is a pretty good start
