After the previous Labour government make the tax system so huge, and one of the most complex in the entire world, there is now a drive to cut the amount of red tape that that Labour government thought up of, and especially making it simpler for small businesses to survive without paying for a con-artist accountant.

Recorded from BBC 1pm News, 20 July 2010.

  • scrap income tax and tax the land - see the renegade economist.

  • @liarpoliticians I'm with don on this, do away with tax period, London is the financial capital of the world and makes an absolute fortune all day long, tax that, then no-one has to pay any tax, the system will be paying for us...that's simple

  • No lies here my friend, it's an out n out admittance that it's all BS =))

  • @donroche How about those on benefits get their benefits taxed.

Why and how is it fair for someone earning £20,000 to be taxed heavily on that income, but someone getting £20,000 in benefits gets that money tax free?

No wonder people don't want to work, work doesn't pay.

  • The EU won't allow this of course..... Bail to your communist leaders.
