This TV interview shows how easy it is to have your credit card number stolen from your purse or wallet without even touching it. New PayPass (tm),Visa Wave (r), Amex Express Pay (r), and Discover zip(r) cards contain radio frequency identification - RFID - chips - that can broadcast your personal information to a remote reader. This is generally called skimming. The Identity Stronghold Secure Sleeves they show protect you from having your information stolen this way. You can buy them at www.idstronghold.com

  • do they alll come in that size of a case or are there smaller sizes?

  • I am not sure I undertand your question. Are you asking about our Secure Sleeves or the readers?

  • the sleeves. I was wondering if you just have sleeves that fit credit cards or do you have smaller ones that would fit Y.M.C.A. cards or anything of that nature.

  • @DominoChild we have credit card sized and passport book sized plus wallets and badge holders.

  • Are debit cards the same way?

  • Americans love convenience....

  • This is correct but when this form of technology goes mainstream it won't be with credit cards it'll be with smart phones and will most likely require you to open an app and put in a passcode to gain access. This is all introduction for the masses. The main idea isn't necessarily to be 'faster' it's to make your phone your entire wallet. Wait and see. Pretty soon your phone will be All you need to carry around- guaranteed.

  • Why not burn-out the RDIF in the card by using a coil and some power or just hit the card with a hammer?

  • This video is very informative. We appreciate the video. Nice job Identity Stronghold.

  • @jrm523 unfortunately it's real, I got a RFID card and asked for a replacement immedietly SAY NO TO RFID!

  • @cllewis1

Go to KTLA website. And then in the search box near to top right type in RFID and hit enter.

You will see an article titled "Identity Identity Theft: How Safe Are You?". That is the original news story dated March 16, 2009.
