Denny Rehberg Fights to Save a Popular WWII Memorial on Big Mountain.

"When I visited it earlier this year, I saw first-hand that this memorial is an irreplaceable part of our state's history and a unique and colorful part of the local culture. The Forest Service's denial of the lease defies common sense. Using a tiny section of public land for a war memorial with religious themes is not the same as establishing a state religion. That's true whether it's a cross or a Star of David on a headstone in the Arlington National Cemetery, an angel on the Montana Vietnam Memorial in Missoula or a statue of Jesus on Big Mountain. The Forest Service is just flat wrong to deny this lease on those grounds, and I'm working hard to get them to do the right thing." - Denny Rehberg

Exactly my point instead of doing something useful for all humanity some atheist all the do is complain for what? 15 minutes of fame spending my hard earn money on what? winning for me me me while the country goes down? that money should be used on something also other than a bunch of winning atheist by the way u are close to 70 u don't have much left what now? tops may be another 5-10 years left the mortality rate goes down once economy goes down what if u are wrong?

Although Rehberg calls this a memorial, it is not a memorial. It is a Catholic shrine. The Knights of Columbus flip-flopped and suddenly are now calling it a memorial when in fact when they applied for an extension, they called it a shrine. KofC are liars.
