I'll make sure my children hears his voice, and brings it on to their children. Such a voice should never be forgotten.

Rest in Peace Ronnie Drew. I had the misfortune of not finding him until he was already gone... But I have enjoyed his music every since I found it. His voice was so heartfelt and it makes you feel good inside. I will pass his voice on to all that I know. The beloved Dub will not be lost in time. I swear to it.

Rest in Piece Ronnie Drew and Reimar Stukenberg!!!

Mr. Drew reminds me of Johnny Cash. A voice composed of a trillion, yet significant, individual attributes that contrive an unmicicable, uncontestable, unforgetable vocal ballet. This is a voice that can adamize a timeless legacy. R.I.P Ronnie Drew, you have achieved immortality.

who wrote this song?

Not sure who wrote the tune to this, but Patrick Kavanagh wrote the poem about himself.

It's interesting to hear Patrick Kavanagh say his poem, but it lacks the depth that Ronnie's voice brings to it. PK's is to thin and high-pitched. Love this song.
