@Henoch2006 And Mary is part of big-T Tradition - the kind that God intended to pass down via the Holy Spirit, apostolic succession, and the popes, beginning with Peter. Small-t tradition is the tradition of men. Honoring God's mother is part of God's Tradition. Jesus kept the 10 Commandments; wouldn't He want us to honor her? We ask Mary to intercede for us, to pray for us, just like we ask people on Earth to pray for us. We're well aware that Jesus is our (and Mary's) only source of salvation.

That heresy was introduced after 1500 years of Catholic (true Christian) tradition, which included devotion to Mary. The founder of Protestantism venerated Mary to the same degree as Catholics!
