CINCINNATI (Tim Hedrick) -- Snowflakes come in all different sizes and shapes. They always have six sides. Sometimes snowflakes come in columns, sometimes they come in hexagonal shapes or needle shaped. Different types of snowflakes give you different types of accumulation. The smaller stuff fits closer together and does not give a quick rate of accumulation. As the weather gets colder this type of accumulation is what you will see across the tri-state.
