Ok for you noobs who keep complaining that this is a different area: this is a "Radiant Quest". It can be in several different locations. He is showing one of them and then what to do with the stuff. Don't believe me? Google.

im playing on the ps3 and it says i'm supposed to go to Liar's Retreat southwest of Solitude, not Ansilvund Excavation. Is it different for each gaming system or something?

What are you supose to do after you deliver the shalidor's writings? Is it supose to happen something after you talk to him? Is it followed by any next quest? Anyone who knows the answer please help me. Thank you
