Get a first-hand glimpse at the brand new ASUS Vivo Tab (TF810), running Windows 8. Incredibly thin & light, it features the next generation Intel® Atom™ CPU and is the perfect tablet for work & play while on the go. The stylish 11.6" tablet comes bundled with a Wacom® digitizer stylus while the x86 platform ensures compatibility that allows it to run virtually any Windows software.

The transformer book doesn't have a wacom digitizer. For many people, including myself, it's a deal breaker. 14-inch transformer book with a wacom digitizer, that would be a geek student's dream - although I'll admit the screen real estate is a matter of personal preference, I'd like it big. Now, if you can't write on it, you'd have a huge buyers remorse when a few months later comes a devices with even beefier specs than the transformer book - and a digitizer. Paperless life dream, ya know.

RT is too similar to the Apple style of "you must buy everything through our app store, and we only let stuff in there that we want to" style of things, which is one of the biggest turn-offs for Apple that people have.
People want a Windows device because of it's unlimited compatibility, people are turned off by Windows plus limited compatibility because it has all the weaknesses of Windows with none of the strengths.

The price is about 775 USD. shit, if it was 500 dollars it would be perfect. about 300 dollars more than the smart version, to get the wacom functionality. I can't have a tablet that doesn't support wacom, but 300 dollars more? F'in hell, I have a feeling Wacom is price gouging with exorbitant licensing fees because they have a monopoly on pen input and want to protect their way overpriced cintiq line by screwing competition.
