@hhyten Good morning. Yes, I´m absolutely sure that I´m looking for a perfect Bach´s aria to be sung in my funeral. It would be as reaching the heaven in the last moment. Dietrich Dieskau is one my favourite barytons, even when he performances Jesus in St Mathew Passion, conducted by Karl Richter -Archiv-. Sometimes I think that J.S. Bach is this grandfather that I never had. I´m glad you like Spain, where are you from, by the way? Greetings.

@butannin Uh, are you seriously looking for the perfect Bach aria for your funeral? Or is this just a metaphor? If you want to hear the most wonderful "Ich habe genug", I'd suggest listening to Dietrich Fischer-Dieskau's. I have to be careful not to over-listen it; I don't want it to become trite. By the way, me encanta la España.

@hhyten @hhyten Good morning. Thank you for answering. You`re really right: it´s very difficult choosing one aria among all Bach´s Cantatas. I´ve got the complete work from Teldec and Harnoncourt, and I cannot find the most beautiful piece for my funeral. Anyway, it´s very interesting discussing with you about Bach Music, the greatest composer all over the Universe. Wonderfull Cantata BWV 127. And what about this: Cantata BWV 82 - II Part?. @butannin I know what you mean, but I ask in a spirit of humor, how can you choose this over other Bach arias? The Cantata playlist on my iPhone is over 5 hours now, any one of the arias would be inspirational at my funeral. I just listened to 7 performances of "Die Seele ruht in Jesu Handen" on YouTube. That's a great candidate for a funeral tribute.

Wow, I did not expect this performance. The recording of the orchestra is so warm, and the tempo and intonation is so right. Ms. Groop's voice is quite agile and her tone is very rich.
