Closed Caption Is Missing!

Regarding one channel which is FOX that has missing CC, not showing it at all.

but still problem is there I still have to complain to them I'm getting fed up and tired of it with them so I let you know it's the software at cable service. They don't even give me some credit for the problem jeez what a jerk!!! I think they are working on softwares because they are trying to make it work with ATSC and NTSC (digital and analog).

Wow, it's still the problem and they haven't fixed it? I just checked my TV for FOX channel and still no such luck, it's been almost a week now. I guess I have to call to see what's holding them. If nothing by, then I will have to report to FCC so hopefully none of these will ever happen to us in the future. I will keep you all posted.

I asked a CEO or manager or whatever of a movie theater, that provides CC, that I wanted to watch a particular movie with CC on scheduled date. He said he would provide CC for me on any movie, except FOX movies. So...it highly possible that it's FOX, not Charter. I hope someone with energy and resource to sue FOX for discrimination or perhaps hate crime. I love to see haters be put in prison.

Actually it is not FOX because as you can see in the video that CC is provided on FOX through Antenna but CC isn't working with Charter.

I checked with friends that has Comcast, they does have CC on FOX but many Deaf customers that have Charter have same problem with me that has no CC.

So, whenever I want to watch FOX, I have to switch to antenna or have my friend record it on their comcast or satellite. It is just Charter's issue.

I see. Maybe Charter forgot or didn't know to turn on cc mode?? It's coincidence that Fox movies can't be shown in cc at Marcus Theater, that was why I assume it was Fox. But still, it should be unlawful for not showing them in cc.

A friend just told me that she couldn't see any CC on FOX and she uses Comcast. Maybe it depends on location? Because she said her family's house about 50 miles away also have comcast and FOX does show CC.

I personally think it must be the reception.. but then again.. who knows? I guess I will find out on Monday, I hope. :-)

Call or Email local cable company about this!!! I did for AMC and contacted the AMC network and then Mom got the phone call from Comcast themselves to ask what was the problem was and that they were working on it.

Now that government is cutting back on money for everything that is important to us, that includes CC and we need to have our "voice" hear about this!!!

something is wrong with F.C.C. relate to the FOX..

maybe FOX is not interesting C - C at all..

or C - C is less pay to FOX station..

because FOX did view many american people are not much watching on FOX with C - C how much percent watchers

Hi, I knew this problem that happened to me a few years ago. I contacted National Captioning Inst about the problem. They told me to contact the TV cable station. I had the TV cable technician come over to my home to check things out. He called the station and found it was their station not ours. My captions went back to normal. Make the technician to come back to look at the problem. Good luck.

I hope you can get this straighten out, sometime I watch FOX whenever I can when I m not working, I would try get this taken care of and why don't you try get someone from cable company to come out and see what the problem is and you show that guy the difference what you are trying to explain why that particular channel is not showing any CC and the other channels shows CC. give it a try and good luck!

They found out it's all over Western States then they finally found the problem with software so they push back old version and it got better then a year later it come back same problem but less than before and I called them and complain again then it is still on and off for short time which is much better than before
