I have surgery in 12 hours. Can't wait to get to sleep again for the first time in 6 years. I had a battle with insurance and mine have grown large and in numbers over the years of waiting for coverage.

I notice you said you had several things down. All in all how much did this cost you? Did you have any blood drain down your throat and in your mouth? What about sneezing?

Yes this does help me. Thanks for posting this.

I had insurance. Blue Cross Blue Shield of Texas so it was mostly covered by my insurance. I think it was about $1K out of pocket in the end. In the first week, they tell you not to sneeze...I think what they really mean is don't sneeze in the way you normal do. Let the air go out your mouth not through your nose. There was some blood that went down my throat but it was really a very little amount. The first 24-48 hrs your nose bleeds then it slowly stops. good luck

This is the original poster. I should make a follow-up video but I've been busy. One thing I would mention is that I should have taken more pain-killer. I tried to tough it out and deal with the post op pain but in hindsight that's kinda stupid. The drugs they give you are great at killing the pain. When I shot this video it was right after surgery and I wasn't feeling much pain at that point. It did get worse... not to worry it wasn't too bad. Now I feel great and breath must better.

Don't worry. I was never put under before so I think that is the part that makes people the most nervous. I have to say they are very good at putting you to sleep. I really didn't notice. It happened in seconds. Basically they put the IV in my arm and that was the most pain I felt...literally within seconds I was out. 3 hours later I slowly woke up. I'm super glad I did the surgery. I can actually breathe for the first time in years. It's worth it.
