Yes. Next time they tour, (and I hope that they do tour again) there needs to be a Press release with quotes from Manics etc on the TPE influence. A list of people to contact in the media all around this country and Ireland. And a list of Petrols fans who will get home from work and get on the phone/email/write/hand out flyers in cafes...There needs to be a "hand-out" CD for all the media people who were too young, so that they can go "Oh ok I get it" Adverts in the local press. It'll be easy.

Hey - Iamatwat!! They're not dead yet. Start a campaign. Seriously, just ring up a few radio stations and gently but firmly insist that they play That Petrol Emotion records. Don't give up. After a while, it gets kinda fun actually. (hee hee)
Go straight to the guy who runs the station because he'll be of the age range that remembers TPE. Seriously, do it.

heaven knows they wrote many classics esp on Chemicrazy but for me this is their best song ever and they opened with it at Bloomsbury Ballroom last week. What a band. if there were nominations for the oscars of most unjustified failure to break thru combined maybe a bit ahead of their time award then...............please lads keep believing x
