Answered Prayers! Papa Is Getting Better

Thank you all for your prayers. The Lord has heard! As Papa's electrolyte balance is being restored, he continues to improve. Pleural fluid negative for cancer. CT scans were delayed and that is a blessing. All glory to God.
I also thought I would let you in on something about my personal spiritual experience. Hopefully, this will also be some kind of testimony to my atheistic family, who witnessed me bring my father salt out of the blue, just before he fell ill from lack of salt. My brother asks me,'How did you know?' I tell him I have a spiritual intuition.

so, it wasnt the doctors or the medicine that helped your father, but it was the prayer? could he have not been helped without them?

No, I didn't say that. Of course the medicine (which was only salt, btw) helped, but so what? He was extremely critical. He could have died before even receiving it,orhe could have not responded to it properly.

In the end, he did die, but we felt blessed to have had a 2 week grace period with him during which we were able to show him how much we care and say goodbye to him.

Prayer is not like writing to Santa. It is about aligning yourself with God's will and asking for help when you need it.

You are probably what they call a "medical intuitive." It's all part of being psychic but you are probably more of a healer/psychic. I have some of that particular gift as well but I'm just plain psychic. It's a burden, it's a gift. I hate it when I get tragic info and it happens. Check out google: medical intuitives. I did pray for him but didn't have his name so I just sent it out there and hope it went to the right place. It aint his time!!

Interesting. I never heard of that. A while back,I foresaw my husband getting hit by a car. When we would part, I would repeat over and over 'becareful with the street, don't jaywalk, stay on the small streets, etc' For about 3 months I kept worrying he was going to get hit. I had this ominous feeling.

Well, guesswhat? He did get hit. One night, crossing on green on a boulevard, he got hit by a taxi, who left him lying in the road. He was injured but he recovered.

How can you dismiss that?

The bible discusses spiritual gifts in the book of I Corinthians 14. Some are given your gift of prophesy while others can speak in tongues or understand what is said in tongues. Either way I am again very thrilled to hear that your father is continuing to do well...

I hope your dad gets better and can live many more decades, please don't take me wrong, but if he had not gotten better, would God had ignored the prayers?

You didn't predicted the future, you just remember more vividly those times when your prediction was correct because you feel better than when you err.

Because, when you get it wrong, what happens? Was the holy spirit out of duty?

I'm not trying to be condescending, I invite you to look at your belief from a different point of view.

Jesus did not come some we can keep on being a sinners...look up overcomer in your bible...You are to reckon yourself dead to sin romans 6;11..twice jesus said go and sin no more.I am just saying not to believe the majority but hear the true gospel that jesus took your sin life at the cross for that's the good report....word of knowledge is a gift but salvation is for the sanctified Hebrews 12:14.
