Here are various scenes from St. Paul during the RNC. This is the militarization of a city, the surreal reality of martial law. Some arrestees are facing Patriot Act linked terrorist charges that could keep them in jail for 7 years.

  • u ppl are so gullible wow

  • @Flomounier1 must be donuts

  • @skulliwulli i agree

  • Why do these people act so surprised when they confront armed police and get their asses handed to them?! Why in gods name would you bring your children in to this situation? silly, dangerously naive people.

  • No, it lies with you dumb liberals

  • I don't get it from the video all we saw was police lining the protest march to stop them breaking off from the group. the only thing worth mentioning was the tear gas at the end but that was at night not during the day when the march was. why didn't those people go home after the march why did that small group pack in front of those buildings and not go home. the police cant be expected to stay around all night because small group wont disperse.

  • "People running around like idiots". That's not my experience of demonstrations, though you are right to mention tear gas and the like, because police brutality certainly is an experience that many demonstrators do have, and responsibility for those who are injured in those circumstances lies solely with the police.

  • People running around like idiots, tear gas, concussion grenades... Sounds like just the environment I'd want to bring my children to. HELLO!?!?!

  • What exactly is wrong with taking kids to a demonstration?
