@redemtionboy umm... Guess what? A "Love Offering" is basically the same as admission if not more. One feels Obligated to give. And hey, I would rather pay money to hear Barlow Girl, Stellar Kart and Vota then to give a love offering to hear Carmen. Not that I dont like Carmen.. Mission 3:16, Our Father (one of the ONLY songs I have Ever heard that uses the Recorder as an instrument), etcera. But even priest get paid so they can survive. And you should check out Air1.com - Christian music. GAL

@funnybunnylolz911 It wasn't on youtube until recently. If you type in Miss Angie 100 million eyeballs, then it will pop up. AreoMaster150 is the person who posted it I believe.

@redemtionboy Well this is where we will have to disagree. I see nothing wrong if a christian artist charges an admission to their concerts. Often times it is the venue or the ticket company that charges the admission fee through the sale of tickets. Moreover, the artist still has to eat. If they are using a secular venue, then that venue and ticket company will require an admission to use their facility. Understand?

@Smartguy561 To be honest, I have a problem with anyone charging attendance to their concerts and calling it a ministry. Do people charge admission to church services? Otherwise it seems to me like you're just using the Christian name as an advertising piece. I have no problem with artists that don't cram Jesus down your throat because not everyone wants to heart that. I have plenty of friends who get turned off the second they hear Jesus, but a more subtle artist can work their way in.

@redemtionboy And many of them like tourniquet switched over to a secular label and retained their ministry and message. These musicians today not only do not have real ministries, but they aren't really christians either. I listen to both christian and secular music. All of the christian rock and metal bands I listened to charged admissions and had the same type of venues as the secular ones, but they proclaimed the gospel in their music. Many of these "Christian artists today are frauds.

@redemtionboy Thank you for making my point. What I am saying is that the bands that I listened to like Petra, Barren Cross Tourniquet, Messiah Prophet and others were christian rock and metal bands owned by christian labels that had real ministries and charged admissions to their concerts just like the secular ones do.
