You know they souldn't discourage chinese from the mainland to not buy the items back, but I do understand the reason for it in order for them not to profit, and the fact there are stolen, but if it is the case of the items being sold, the government such as in Hong Kong sould close down, and seize the stocks of the auctions houses to verify that those items are not stolen themselves, in order to pressure all auction houses that sell stolen historical chinese art treasures.
