Sick Black moor goldfish. Has been taken out about 2 weeks ago into a quarantine tank. Been treating with Quick Cure and 80% water changes every 2 days. Small salt mix added in as well.

Fish is still sick though. Not sure why what is wrong at this point. But he is way more active and clamped fins isnt as severe now.

  • I had a black moore named Bubbles that we bought from WalMart years ago...it lived pretty long but had the strangest habits 8O

It slept upside down (like what a dead fish looks like) made gurgling noises at the top of the bowl, and then later on developed a sickness and right when we thought he would die, we saw him...he had ONE EYE XO

And the worst thing....I think he ate it T-T Cuz it was nowhere in the tank...he passed away later on.

  • Hah, as it swims away past 0:10, I keep imagining it saying "I'm coming, god!" or something like that.

Sucks that your fish is sick dude.

  • @sorahasthekey2mihart it had swim bladder disorder. thats why he "slept" upside down. he couldnt balance himself.

  • im sorry dude

  • I would use ICK TREATMENT! it helps your gold fish survive the ick just put the fizz and POOF! gone

  • not a happy fishy...

  • goldfish are so hard to care for! mine has a parasite so i put a little salt in the tank so fingers crossed he gets better!! i hate seeing animals sick :(

  • both my gold fish have ich right now but im trying to treat it with a little bit of salt and ich medicine. How do they get sick ? i have all the setup right and put fresh water every 2 to 3 weeks . Have u found a to treat them ?

  • It's good that you put him into a quarantine tank but 80% water changes is a big no-no. No matter the circumstance, you should never change more than 25% of the water at a time. More than that can shock the fish.

  • Whats wrong with your moor?

  • D': That what happen before my black moore died! *cries*

  • @Dzone20

    I dunno!!

I think if they swim upside down they have swimmers bladder...but i hope they're just sleeping
