aka Judge Ghis, heheh. :P

This battle is a surprisingly short one, thanks to the tactics we've used.

First of all, once again make sure you are playing on the slowest battle speed and on Wait mode. Choose the party of Basch, Balthier and Ashe, all of whom have the best damage potential in the party at this point.

First, we want to throw a Reflectga Mote on Ghis, so that his precious Protect becomes ours. He tends to concentrate his attacks on Ashe, so make sure she is the one who gets it by coming closer to him.

Once the Reflectga Mote has been tossed (do not wait until Protect becomes yours, since we're playing with the slowest speed, he will be casting this spell for quite a while), have one of the guys throw a Warp Mote to eliminate all the annoying Imperials. Now Ghis is alone!

Have Ashe take his Protect, use a Hastega Mote on the party and start attacking, healing with Ashe or Basch (Basch can inflict greater damage than any of them, however, his attack with the Handaxe is so random that it is up to the player which of the two he should rely on to heal, and which - to deal damage).

He may begin casting Aero shortly. You should be afraid, unless you have another Reflectga Mote. Use this one on yourself and instead of slaughtering your entire party, Ghis will wound his own self horribly.

After this and your numerous attacks he should be nigh dead. An easy battle with these tactics.

P.S. I am going to repeat this battle without tossing the Warp Mote, because doing some optional hunts will be much easier with an extra one in your pocket. I am sure I can beat him without the Warp Mote, however, it would be less fun to watch, so I decided to upload the tactically superior strategy instead.

I used the Imperial March and a brief sound clip from The Empire Strikes Back in this video.

  • just summon belias he can solo this

  • You don't have Belias at this point of the game.

  • This fight is easy with warp mote. ghis concentrate with Ashe or leader. All you have to do is avoid his first attack. Then he will move around slowly to get you. so control your targeted character then attack with your two other character. As long as you avoid his first attack, kiting works perfectly and this battle ends with no damages.

  • True, people still playing this challenge are kiting the otherwise ridiculously overpowered bosses. Even the second Gilgamesh has been defeated just because of his affinity to chase after you. Such way of fighting bosses is also the reason why there are only essentially two people still taking the challenge.

  • @IvanIJV24

This is way before you can get Firefly.

It is a well-known fact that the lowest level you can keep your party in this game is 1, 2, 2, 3, 3 and 3. This video shows nothing sensational in this regard.

  • @IvanIJV24 Cos even with firefly you get them at lvls above this

  • K how the hell are they at low alvl??? did you use a cheat engine

  • blind him works really well, only his aero is a danger

penelo and ashe with capellas are surprisingly effective

  • Hello! He´s playing through the game with as low level as possible! He tells it in the start of the vid

  • This is PISS. :') Sorry but if you train well enough you'll find this a breeze. Just use quickenings n You'll Whoop his ass along with his gay bot men.

But dont get me wrong you dont hv to even train for ages jus abit effort.

    Took me Seconds.

    Great vid btw.

  • i beated him with Dark at lvl 9(Vaan) and lvl8(Ashe & Penelo).

just continue using Dark until he goes down, with ALL the party members, you will basicly kill all the imperials(judges) when trying to kill Ghis cause Dark is an area effect spell.
