I had to ride a unicycle for a marching band competition in Kennewick Washington for Jerome High School...nobody esle could do so i did but the Unicycle was meant for the other guy who was 5'6" 130 lbs compared to my 6'2" 200 lbs...see

it actually was customizerd for A 125 5'5 guy when at that time i was 230 and 6'1, trust me it does matter the size dude

why did you have to do it for a competition. i have been to many myself, but thats pretty original

nobody else would do it so i decided to take the challenge and learn within two weeks but i was too nervous and too big to move
