Please watch the trailer to the documentary "Dying For Help". We are in the process of filming patient stories and plan on releasing the documentary on the anniversary of health care reform March 2011.

funny!

Only certain neuropathies benefit from IVIG that are usually autoimmune based. CIDP, Guillain-Barre Syndrome, MMN, & some peripheral neuropathies are the most commonly covered indications by insurance companies with the best medical outcomes

Is IVIG only for certain types of neuropathy patients, or would all neuropathy patients need this?

Thank You
It is day 1 and I woke up with chills and bad headache and flue type symptoms, it is now 10 pm and I'm feeling a lot better.
There is no change yet in my neuropathy but I don't except to see any right away.
No side effects compare to the daily pain I go through with my neuropathy.
I pray for the morning that I can feel my feet again, and go back to my job of 18 years of helping children with autism and their family's.
I pray that all who need IVIG will get it.

I just had my first IVIG Infusion therapy for demyelinating neuropathy. My protein levels are to high.
I want to thank Kaiser Permanente for excepting this type of treatment, and the wonderful staff at their Infusion clinic.
It will take some time to see if it works, but I am hopeful.

Please contact the Alliance for Plasma Therapies if your insurance has denied coverage of IVIG, doctor can't afford to treat you, can't afford Medicare homecare/donut hole or no availability at local hospital. We want to help.

We must restore access access for these patients. IVIG helps a lot of patients. What therapy are they going to deny patients next?
IVIG has been very successful for some patients. So I have my fingers crossed that you will see some benefits as well. Best of luck!!
