Joel Paterson & The Modern Sounds are a Chicago area trio. They feature Joel Paterson on guitar and vocals; Jimmy Sutton (sitting in for Beau Sample) on string bass and vocals; Alex Hall on drums and vocals. At the Glenwood Grallery they brought their infectious brand of American roots music that had people literally dancing in the streets. On this extended number they do a version of Chet Atkin's Kokomoo.
