I've long been an American citizen and lived here since I was 14 but growing up in Bermuda I remember how my English mother attentively sat watching the Queen's Christmas message. My American father and my sister and I sat with her and it wasn't until I got older I realized how I attached that so much as a part of our family Christmas. I used to watch it on cable tv here but now I'll watch it on YT!

I think the Queens speech at Christmas is very much a tradition, especially amongst the older generation.
This year was the 50th speech.
I'm sure there are a lot of people who've seen every single one :)
