JS during his struggle,was close to Baldev Ramnarayan,owner of Peacock restaurant in Bangalore,at one of BR private party he sang his lovely ghazals,it was recorded on a spool tape recorder, I'm still having a copy of that in my collection.

बात निकलेगी तो फ़िर दूर तलक जायेगी,लोग बेवजह उदासी का शबब पूछेंगे।
ये भी पुछेंगे कि तुम इतनी परेशां क्यों हो,उंगलिया उठेंगी सूखे हुये बालों की तरफ़।
इक नजर देखेंगे गुजरे हुये सालों की तरफ़,चूडियों पर भी कई तजं किये जायेंगे।
कांपते हाथों पे भी फ़िकरे कसे जायेंगे,लोग जालिम है हर इक बात का ताना देंगे।
बातों बातों में मेरा जिक्र भी लें आयेंगे,उनकी बातॊ का जरा सा भी असर मत लेना।
