@rashomon66 I think it was more about irony. Someone trying to force morals onto people when they don't practice those morals themselves. It's called the "Do as I say not as I do." mentality, where people in the government "Know what's better for you." and force the world to conform despite being just as bad in their personal lives as they people they go after.
