ループウイング風力発電工作セットの実物が、タミヤ本社に設置されました。約6mの支 柱の上に搭載されたループウイングは、羽の直径が1.5m。自然の風だけで回転します 。さらに支柱にはソーラーバッテリーも装着。風と太陽光で生み出された電気は内蔵され たバッテリーに蓄えられ、支柱に取り付けられた高輝度LEDの点灯に使われます。この LEDはセンサーにより、まわりが暗くなると自動的に点灯します。さらに、支柱の下に は100Ｖコンセントも設けられています。国内ではまだまだ見ることができないループ ウイング、タミヤ見学の際には静かに回転するその姿をぜひご覧ください。
