@rainxxxx Should I mount the motherboard onto the wall of the cabinet then?
-
@rainxxxx It has a working coin mech that accepts quarters only. I show it at 9:13. The microswitch for the coin mech is wired to the start button, so yes I had to insert quarters to effectively press the start button. However I did another microswitch later as an alternate way of pressing the start button. But it's still wired up right. Coin 1 switch triggers the xbox controller 1 start button and the coin 2 switch triggers the xbox controller 2 start button.

how do you keep the xbox from overheating
dondon4720 4 months ago
@dondon4720 I just never played it enough for it to overheat in there maybe 2 hours at a time at the most. Its big inside and the heat rises to the top where there's a vent.
Plus since it was my main xbox at the time, I eventually just ran a monitor cable out of the cabinet to make it easier to move between the garage and the house.
