http://www.MarkFiore.com Little Green Man is back and learning all about mountaintop mining in the USA. Coal mining is so much easier now that you don't need those pesky miners and can just blow up the mountains! Oh, and don't worry about living there anymore. A Mark Fiore political animation.

  • Rand Paul's statement was mind-numbingly stupid, not to mention dismissively arrogant.

"I don't think anybody's going to be missing a hill or two here and there."

Well, you might miss that hill if your family lived on that hill for generations.

One could just as easily say,

"I don't think anybody's going to be missing a corrupt corporatist politician or two here and there."

    Or,

"I don't think anybody's going to be missing an environmentally destructive corporation or two here and there."

  • @TheChunkyAtheist Key word there is "could". Everyone "could" own a Ferrari, but it's not going to happen. Who has the money to put up solar panels?

  • @TheChunkyAtheist or so u've been told. each house, apartment building could produce its own energy with solar panels, reducing our electrical needs from coal dramatically, big oil and big coal have big reasons 2 surpress this sort of thing from catching on. read up much on what the republicans work 4 everyday? u have ur answer

  • @cruelbusiness1984 Our government is against nuclear energy, so coal or natural gas is our only alternative that is practical. And yes, I'm aware of alternative energy sources, but they don't have the capabilities currently to meet energy needs.

  • @TheChunkyAtheist how does that make the situation any better? plus the factories 2 make the machines r still overseas. people would still need 2 b flushed out of the area 2 avoid the poisons. plus coal is a poisonous method of generating energy. there r more efficient ways of makin energy, it hasn't caught on because of all the companies blockin the progress

  • Istead of blowing up timeless mountain-tops lets blow-up coal-industry corporate ceo's & the disgusting politicians who whore for them (Rand Paul & so many others!)

  • @TheChunkyAtheist That doesn't make as many jobs as are lost.

  • you forgot bank of America. They support MTR too.

  • Err... it requires people to build digging machines, so jobs lost from the mine are made up at the Caterpillar factory.
