Details:
1. Band saw blade tension control
The band saw blade is tensioned by a hydraulic cylinder for constant controlled tension at all times.
2. Size of band saw blades
The construction of this machine allows the use of either 1 1/4" or 1 1/2" wide band saw blades, which depends on the sawing application. To change the width of the band blade, you just need to change to a wider or narrower roller guide.
3. Variable Feed Rate
The saw head is driven by a high torgue hydraulic motor providing a smooth variable feed rate for all types of sawing conditions and a fast saw head return.
4. Saw Head Motor
The band saw blade is driven by a 30 HP electric motor with enough torgue for any sawing job.
5. Blad Tension Gauge
Blade tension gauge shows the correct tension for different size hands.
6. Extra Long Rigid Saw Bed
Rigid constructed saw bed frame provides solid support for the heaviest logs.
Log clamping. log turner, and the log tapers are fully hydraulic.
7. Coolant Applicator
Coolant is used for lubricating and cooling the band, and also stopping build up on the band and band wheels.
The coolant applicator only applies coolant when the saw is cutting, when the saw head is returning the fluid shuts off automatically.
8. Centralize Hydraulic Control Station
All hydraulic controls are conveniently centralized on the machine, within easy reach of the operator. These controls include saw head travel, log tapers, log turner, and the log loader.
9. Log Loader
The solid constructed log loader is hydraulically operated to load the log onto the saw mill. The control for the log loader is conveniently located at the control station.
10. Saw Head Functions
The head is raised and lowered by a hydraulic motor, controlled by an encoder for accurate positioning of the head.
There are five set points that can be programmed at any time for the thicknesses you are cutting through the digital position control.
Light weight hand wheels are dynamically balanced for high performance sawing, with fitted rubber belts for accurate blade tracking.
11. Saw Band Guide Wheels
Guide wheels on top of the band ensure accurate cuts, with minimum friction and increased band life.
The adjustable roller guide arm is held into place by a linear bearing block, the movement of the arm is controlled by a hydraulic cylinder.
12. Hydraulic Power Unit
The hydraulic power unit consists of high quality components, high volume for smooth operation and long service life.
A cooler on the hydraulic unit ensures constant temperature throughout the entire hydraulic circuit
13. Digital Position Controller
Provides extremely accurate saw head position control and can be set at any position desired.
Preset keys can be set to your most common used sets 4/4, 5/4, 6/4, 8/4, 4 or 6 inches.
14. Moveable Control Panel
The moveable control panel allows the operator to operate the machine from his most desired location.
