After seeing the litany of anti-wow videos denouncing the game as addicting and detrimental to ones health I had to make a short film in our defense. It is short and very crude, but the logic is sound.

  • There are 3 main points....1) People need to stop looking for excuses for their problems and start looking for solutions, most of you had your problems before you started playing. 2) No one has the right to tell you how to live your life. 3) Stay the hell out of peoples business and focus on your own damn life. You are not so perfect that you can definitively tell someone else how to live. NO ONE IS!

  • To all of you who have watched my video, I offer my thanks. To all of you that have posted comments on my video, you have mostly missed the point. The point of the video is not really to defend those people that play the game 24/7. It is also not intended to deny that many people that play WoW might have emotional problems.

  • Since when is ANYONE ELSES BUSINESS YOURS? God damn activists, they piss me off so much, they r dead centered that they r right and always will be in a particular case. Guess what Skorpz, YOU ARE WRONG. It is up to the INDIVIDUAL to determine if their play is extreme, and if it is eventually they will cut it, but who the hell put you in charge to determine their limits? And WoW isn't the only addicting game or activity, ANYTHING in extreme is unhealthy, even excercise, so mind your own business

  • Breenogg is right and im glad he made this vid, even though you should be prepared to get many negative comments on this vid. But even though it only proves who are addicted and who are not.

This video is based completely on facts, and its barely possible to say ''this is not true¨ on this vid. (exception for addicts i guess).

I played both games, but im glad i found more fun in sports and my family then sitting behind the chair all day.

Again, Thank You for making this video.

    5/5

  • your brain is not set in stone... neuroplasticity any one ? so yeah you do become antisocial by bashing monster heads in all day. you lose other capabilities too like the ability to write music, poetry, give good massages, you miss out on growing your own food, enjoying psychedelics and becoming one with yourself. oh man .. wow luzers

  • and extremes? you could argue videogames are extreme in the first place because its an expantion of boardgames.... , honestly all has been said in the video its about yourself and nobody else. you dont need your parents to tellyou anything. and if you are angry because you would have prefered to spend your time on something more worthwhile then i say now is your chance and do something usefull. and addiction is an illness. if wow doesnt cause it something else will. unless you are strong.

  • good video. but honestly i think those people who suggest wow equals crack and heroin wont be persuaded by rational arguements. infact anyone who says wow is like an addiction doesnt know any addicted person themselfs. I played wow and I played it alot. I have an alcoholic parent. and hearing someone suggest the 2 things are the same just makes me feel sorry for the person because of its lack of knowledge. and parents who come up with this shit should never be allowed to have children. :)

  • This is a good true video.

  • @xxTormundxx stfu dude.... its not "facts" its one sided biased opinons..... and to that i say..... LEEERRROOOOOYYYYYY JEEEEEENNKKKIINNNNNNSSSSS (into your mom)

  • I love how everybody assumes because you spend large amounts of time playing a video game your addicted to it. Following this line of reasoning everyone that listens to music all the time, watches more than 2 hours of television a day, reads a book, or goes to a sports games and memorizes everything they can about the players of their favorite team needs to seek immediate psychiatric help. You're all addicted to something.

  • @ipwntehblue I lol'd. First an addiction is different than having fun. In WoW you have fun its the same as say... having fun by surfing only WoW is available to you all the time, therefore people call it an addiction. Also WoW can't give you mental problems you talk about it like a drug. Drugs you can't stop no matter what. Most people that play WoW are not so severely addicted. Yeah maybe you know a few people that over do it, but lets say 400,00 addicts out of 13 million players is not a lot.

  • stupid ppl thinking that extremes are not unhealthy i can prove you are so worng stupid shit WOW its cool if u play it for a while everything in extreme is bad think about it when you are watching you future so then u wont be a fat ass with no friends and without a girlfriend
