Michael Palin's New Europe - IN ALBANIA

Michael Palin's New Europe is a travel documentary presented by Michael Palin and first aired in the UK on the BBC in 2007 and in the US on the Travel Channel on Monday January 28, 2008.
[1] Palin visits 20 countries in Central and Eastern Europe.

[2] The filming was done in 2006 and early 2007 using HD (high definition) equipment.

[3] The result was made into seven one-hour programmes for BBC One and simulcast on BBC HD. A book, New Europe, was also written describing the trip, and illustrated with photographs by Basil Pao.

I am extremely surprised that Michael Palin did not show the real Albania! Albania Is beautiful, Durres has gorgeous beaches and Vlora&Saranda have clear waters and very hospitable people.Also, Shkodra, Lezha and all North Albania is stunning(no need to go to Italian Alps ) I am disappointed in you Michael, but as usual the Europeans have always been very sceptical about us Albanians. Whatever we have achieved since the 1900 it has been done as result of our own efforts. Lavdi Albanian people.
