Bull Durham star and college-baseball fan Kevin Costner makes a plea to save Rosenblatt Stadium, the current home of the College World Series. Omaha and NCAA officials want to build a new ballpark in downtown Omaha to replace Rosenblatt as the CWS's home, but many think the old ballpark lends a certain special air to the annual tourney. Rosenblatt needs to be part of the name of the new stadium, somehow. Mayor John Rosenblatt was instrumental in bringing the CWS to Omaha; that deed should still be remembered.

Omaha's my town and Rosenblatts our stadium the people the vendors and where it's at that makes it such a great place to go, has the old ballpark feel, this is tradition they are trying to save not kill the cws you idiot. And now because Fahey is ganna steal our tax money without even giving the people a word hes ganna put an ugly stadium in the most rusted out bum filled area in Omaha so it can face a brown river awsome way to kill Omaha's tradition he should be shot and after that shot again.

I agree my dad took me to ny first baseball game there I took my kids there for there first game and I want them to take there kids there if they tear down rosenblatt I'm bot going to spend a dime at td ameritade park which is the stupidest name to a ballpark there is no offense to ppl who work there SAVE ROSENBLATT

can we still save rosenblatt and play some of the world series games there? hmm...and we could also keep the royals. it's so wasteful to tear it down. it's VERY wasteful we were made to build another stadium, but maybe someone ought to take a look at the ones who run omaha and the ncaa a little closer, eh? the people got no say. we never seem to.

yes, mike fahey is as stupid as they come. could've saved us omahans millions of dollars by remodeling/renovating rosenblatt, but instead, his stupid ass decides 'lets just build a stadium right in the qwest centers parking lot'.

For goodness sake people, if we wouldn't have built the new stadium the NCAA would've moved the tournament to Orlando. It's really not Fahey, it's the NCAA. Be mad at them if you want.
