@oliviannify yeah i hate it , D Smith SHOULD be pick for West Indies. in 2010 Against Australia He Perform when others Failed. Just on mistake he made against Zimbabwe in that T20 rule him out of West Indies, But they dint realise D Samith had to go over 8 runs an over to win that match for WI. Were Pollard didnt do nothing in that T20 yet people like him more than Smith.

DJG Sammy: much maligned by many, but he comes across as a nice guy with straight-up humility, decency & faith. His nomination as WI captain may be 'political' but I don't see him doing a worse job than others.
As for his bowling, he's no Curtly Ambrose but is the only WI bowler in the current crop with a bowling avg on the good side of 30. 16 Tests, 46 wickets @ 30, a better avg than J Anderson or Zaheer Khan. Why the hate?
WI doesn't have the '80s greats now so pace alone isn't everything.
