This is our first in a series of projects for the new / ntermediate
machinist.
In this presentation, we build littlemachineshop.com's oscillating cylinder steam
or compressed air engine kit. This kit is outstanding for several reasons; it's very inexpensive, it requires only basic machinist techniques to build, and the principles behind its operation can easily be applied to more complex projects. (see the twin cylinder engine on the left...)
