I rode this for three days. Put about 950 miles on it. Hard turns, windy conditions, rough roads, and freeway speeds. This is just a simple, quick review where I remark on basic things I've found. This is an unofficial review by a vespa rider for other vespa riders, and hopefully Piaggio may note some of the deficencies that I've found.

  • i stopped watching when you said that you use rear brake and then add front.

  • i basically live in the land of the harley. i love the piaggio bv 300 and i want one but i dont know. im kind of fat and 5ft 11. i havent ridden much either, should i buy the scoot or just buy some older japs motorcycle

  • Thanks for your great review

  • Nice review. I never had the gas tank problem and when the pump stops thats it. @Texasvespa the tank actually holds 9.5 liters which= 2.5 gallons

  • Tip 1. Stick the gas nozzle down in the fill hole and don't squeeze the handle all the way. The pump will shut off automatically. Tip. 2. They built the seat for average riders not for you specifically so you need to do something about your seat tt is fine for everyone else. Especially if your 2 up. Sorry for any grammar or spelling typing on iPad.

  • I wanna get a 300 so bad, but the money for a down payment is not coming fast enough. Guess gotta keep on scrounging for cash.

  • 100% agree with the seat that should be flat (like on previous PX vespas) = would allow more sitting positions.

  • ...gas tank problem..?...just remove the gas cap and lift the storage and put the cap between the body and the storage compartment..with the cap on its side...any overspills dont end up in ur storeage tray..

  • Actually the gas filling problem is an issue with a lot of bikes. My last one, a H-D Night Rod Special was a back-stabbing gas spiller, too :) Now I own a Vespa GTS 300 (go figure). Regards from Germany.

  • @imachynn not every station. some do. but of course they are not marked so you dont know which do. :P got to see if my local one does.
