Virtual Bank was created to capture the knowledge of a retiring workforce who served as auditors during the Savings & Loan scandals of the 1980s and turn it into an engaging training tool for young workers.
The user of the simulation assumes the role of a member of the auditing team and must navigate through the bank, interviewing personnel, reviewing documents, and following a money trail to bring down the perpetrator of fraud on the inside.
A concept game produced for the FDIC, Virtual Bank is a rough prototype for how to use a game-based interface to model financial networks and monitor financial activity.
