on March 25th 1995 Fred Ivey was not only at St Pancras to record the arrival of 44767 George Stephenson with "The Palentine" special but also later that evening Fred recorded the loco's arrival at West Ruislip. St Pancras has changed somewhat since this film was shot!

  • The coaches were a pilkington glass sponsorship livery.....awfull

  • my word there strange looking coaches

  • Oh god, I remember seeing those green MK1s at York behind 60007 in 1995, my god they looked awful! Anybody know why were they painted in that colour scheme anyway?

Nice clip of 44767 and interesting to see St Pancras before it was re-built!

  • Omg, that livery is hidious.

  • What a pity that the film did not concentrate more on the action of the valve gear. Very few people have seen anything other than stills of the motion.
