@Minecraft2tutorials Sadly you can get that much ram on ur macbook pro, I just found this out :( the max is 8 GB!!!! This is how you find out, Click the apple logo on ur mac then go to about this mac, then go to "More Info" then click were it says memory then go to " memory Upgrade Instructions" the scroll down to "Applicable models" and the 2 macbook pro models will show you the memory specs. I hope you didn't buy ur memory already, Good luck!

@TopGear577 only removing the battery. You can change the hd and ram if you wish.

Obviously clueless! The first thing you do before doing ANYTHING on a machine is disconnect the battery!

@stuartz1985 Obviously you don't read! Removing the battery VOIDS YOUR WARRANTY. As long as power is off on the machine, you're good.
