From Brazil comes Cheiro do norte, a chinese variety in a pot grows to 60 cm in ground a metre or so and full of Peach/cream coloured pods that reallly stand out.

What they like ?
How hot are they ?

Fantastic taste, a light hab with sweet then a slight fruit tang as well as a slight capsicum,, heat wise not that hot but Ben thought was a bit warm, we put it at under jalapeno heat so has some.

Be great in salads, rice or with fish and one for those not into a lot of heat

they grow really well, look great and great flavour so one worth growing

Thanks Ben for joining me in this sorry wasn't hotter but have a go later with another, just glad ya starting to get into them since moved out of home :-)

my 1st Ever Upload was Of a Younger Ben Snorting Tabasco for a Bet from a mate of mine.. "Tabasco Ben" poor dude, wasn't well after that :-)

hope ya Ejoy
Be Excellent

  • Hey Neil I have a question. I'm planning to make a fruity chili paste made from: hanabero, fatali, pineapple, sugar, worcester sauce, salt and oil. This is my first attempt at this. Once done, how long I can store this is my fridge ? Any tips ? An episode on making sauce/paste would be very appreciated. Cheers!

  • more ben testing chillis please as i do enjoy the suffering

    tnx

    :D

ps. how about a blind test? say putting in 10 different chillis in a box and taking one out not knowing what it is and eating it?

    would be most enjoyable

  • Hello from Brazil!

    I love your videos.

Just for your information, "Cheiro do Norte" means Cheiro (Smell, Odor, Perfume) do Norte (from/of the North).

In the other video (Cheiro Goiás), Goiás is a state in the central region of Brazil.

    Cheers!

  • Your test are way more fun with others present. Do more with your son or side kicks.

  • "THeres no burn"

    "There is a burn"

    HAHAHAHA

  • Aww! love a bit if Ben!

  • Hey, so I might be blind, but I can't find these on your site, where can I find these? because I'd love to buy some!

  • Hey chief, where can I buy this, I'd love to have some!

  • dude your amazing..how old is your son.?

  • Love your vids, Neil! It's nice to see someone taking advantage of Internet video to paint a better picture of what to expect when considering new peppers to try out. Most people just copy and paste descriptions from other sources and offer no vids. Keep em coming! Cheers, mate!

  • Awesome Neil! I cant wait to order some of these and start growing em! I been searching for a chili that is not extremely hot but taste good, thanx for all your hard work and I look forward to new vids and chilis!!! Best wishes for you and your son!!
