@y3192 This is real history. Naresuan restored siamese independence from Burma. We depended on Burma just 30 years (very short, the shortest is 1 year) while other races, whether chinese or others, were ruled by foreginers mongol or manchu for 100 years up. It is difficult to restore independence when already defeated. Thai talks about the truth only. We in fact lost some west part of today's whole country

For some reason, this movie reminds me of the 100 years war between England and France with the Burmese as the English and the French as the Siamese (as they were called back then).
