beautiful acoustic version. the best version of this song for me is the one from 2003 solo acoustic greendale tour where he played it solo and with harmonica

This is the best version for me,goosbumbs every time I listen to it and Ben Keith on the Steel gitaar beautiful,I bet he misses him verry much, and the backup vocals you can hear everything verry clear.

"gretchenblitz "I think they were all stoned or drunk at that time, and I think Neil was on the road with Buf.Sprigfd.or with C.S.N.Y then,I don't really know I was only 13 at the time and only discoverd Neil when I was 15,but I think you agree with me that it will always be a great video, and NeilYoung a great artist!!!

@mondavanhaver - I saw a movie of that train trip. poor Janis. drunker than a skunk. I'm sure Neil was busy doing his own thing as always.

@MrBeroboro ~ another really touching one he wrote right before he went in for his brain surgery, not sure of the title but lyrics go "feel like I'm falling, falling off the face of the earth".

@KyleB1988 ~ speaking of loud angsty noises, a really great unknown record is Don't be Denied. NO NO NO NO NEGATIVE NEGATIVE !!!
-
@MrBeroboro ~ yeah Hey Babe is sweet, I love stars & bars & that whole mid-70s period from on the beach to comes a time.
-
@mondavanhaver ~ 4 strong winds was written by Ian Tyson, another Canadian, back in the old folkie days of the early 60s. It's a beautiful song. Neil rarely does covers, but he picked a classic there.
