if he is a husky you could probably just put him in harness and he would pull. And just speed isn't everything in a sled dogs.

In the Late 1970's a team of Walker Treeing Coonhounds was (sprint racing) open class world champion. These hounds were assembled by Dom Blodgett, but purchased by Mike Murphin for their famous race years.
