If your serious about film making than I would holy recommend the xl2. You can attach other lenses to this baby and really do a out standing job than most. Find out the hows and you'll be great behind any camera, it all depends on what your filming, and what type of money you have to spend!

For all those who knock this baby is plain crazy or any camera for that. If you think this camera has a lot of grain to it, Tell me one tht don't when shooting under wrong light and settings? Your film will only be as good is your no how to shoot and properly light subjects. Broad casting don't except HD so if your the internet type than hd but sd will do the trick as well. I'll suggest you take your time and do whats needed for the job. Make good of your direction and budget. Camera are Cameras
